The cars you can use can either be from a driving instructor, from a rental company or your own.  Many pupils prefer using their instructor’s car as it is fully insured and equipped with controls to meet all DVSA  regulations. Normally getting a driving instructor in Canterbury can often require months of advance notice. But DTC can even offer even a last-minute driving instructor.

We have both automatic and manual cars that are available, for short notice tests. It would be best if we are given a seven-day notice period; however, even if your test is scheduled for a less notice day we will still be able to help you and make every effort to accommodate your needs.

Our car rental service includes one-hour warm-up lessons and a qualified instructor who will provide guidance and support to increase your chances of obtaining your license.
