Queensbury is a major settlement within the Metropolitan Borough of Bradford, in the English region of West Yorkshire. Situated at an elevated point over Halifax, Clayton and Thornton, and looking out over Bradford proper, Queensbury is one of Englands highest parishes, and has excellent views over the West Yorkshire metropolitan area, towards the hills of Bronte country, and to the Yorkshire Dales north and north-west. It had a population of 8,718 in 2001, rising to 16,273 at the 2011 census.

Queensberry is best known for being the site of Black Dyke Mills, as well as Black Dyke Band. Queensbury was originally known as Queenshead. This name was taken from the local pub, now a house in High Street, that was popular with travellers along the route of pack horses from Halifax to Bradford.

The village was historically split between Clayton Township, in Bradford Parish, and Northowram Township, in Halifax Parish, both of which are within West Yorkshire. In 1937, the civic ward was abolished, with the urban area being amalgamated as the new urban area of Queensbury and Slats. In 1974, the urban district was divided, with Queensbury being transferred to the city of Bradford, within the new County of West Yorkshire.
