Allexton is a village and civic parish in Harborough ward, Leicestershire, England.

The parish had a population of 58 according to the 2001 census. At the 2011 census, the village still had less than 100 residents.

Details are included under Horninghold Civil Parish. The village name means Farm/settlement AEthellac or Etellak. Eye Brook forms the border between the County and Rutland, and on the opposite side is Belton-in-Rutland. It is also the border between the parishes of Leicester and Peterborough.

The A47 runs east-west between the villages, while the Hallaton Road links Allexton to Hallaton. St Peters Parish Church, Allexton is under the care of the Churches Preservation Trust. St Peters was originally built between 1160 and 1180, but has undergone a number of changes, including adding a tower and side aisles, as well as being extensively restored by William Millican in 1862. Allexton is a farming parish, covering about 1,000 acres, and has a mix of pasture, pasture, and woods. The pasture is used for sheep and horses, and an equine center is located in Allexton Hall.

Until the 1920s, nearly all of the houses and lands were part of the Allexton Hall Estate. The only older houses are Old Rectory, Bridge House (formerly The Wilsons Arms) and The Cottage. The present hall was rebuilt in 1902, but other buildings had been in place since Tudor times. In the 13th century, the Lord lived in a fortalice (a mowed manor house), the remains of which are buried in the field adjoining the current hall.
