Chorley – Roundabouts
Chorley driving test centre is located around many roundabouts. This includes multilane traffic light controlled roundabouts and mini roundabouts. Many learner drivers have been known to fail their driving test at Chorley for going over mini roundabouts.
Is vital that you are watching road signs and road markings throughout your driving test. On approach to a mini roundabout, you will always find a blue sign for a mini roundabout.

However, please do not park earlier than ten minutes before your appointment time. This can interfere with other test being conducted. Chorley driving test centre conducts tests for cars only.

Pass Rate at Chorley Driving Test Centre
Chippenham has a pass rate which is in line with the country’s average for 2016. It’s pass rate, derived from 6 months worth of data, is 48.5%. Each month around 350 candidates attempt their driving test here, from this only 180 of them pass.
The pass rate may seem low, however, if you are aware of the rules of the road and are able to perform well through the entire test, the examiner will pass you.

However, please remember that our semi-intensive driving course is designed for learners who have recently failed a practical driving test, international drivers, and those who are almost up to test standard. They are not suitable for the new beginner.
