Short Notice Driving Test Banff – High-Speed Roads

The driving examiner will also take you on high-speed ‘A’ roads such as the A98 and the A97. When only ‘A’ roads, important to remember the two-second rule. To apply the two-second rule, simply wait for the driver and front to pass a certain object. It could be a bridge, lamppost or even a tree. Once the vehicle passes the object, simply say to yourself, “Only a fool brakes the two-second rule.” If you get object before your finish counting then you’re too close to the driver and front.
