East Horsley is a village and civic parish in Surrey, England, 21 miles south-west of London, on the A246 between Leatherhead and Guildford. Horsley Junction and Effingham railway stations are on the New Guildford line to London Waterloo. The ancient Horsleys of both halves are alike, with a considerable amount of wooded land, and a few chalky lower slopes, to the south, on the North Downs.

The settlement is 21 miles south-west of London, partially on the A246 between Leatherhead and Guildford. As such, it forms the intersection of a consolidated village and the scattered settlement immediately north of that road, with an extensive range of mid-sized single-family plots, usually of 0.4 acres (0.16 ha).

Horsley and Effingham Junction railway stations are within the parish, which is served by the New Guildford line (which links with London Waterloo, with lines running to Leatherhead, Epsom, and Sutton). The village has a parade of shops and businesses from both Horsleys (see West Horsley), the other halves of the old Horsley are alike, with considerable woods and a few chalky lower slopes, to the south, from the North Downs.
