You can book a driving test on the government website but you will need to hire a car for the practical test as they are not provided by the examiners
The M3 is close by, so be prepared for heavy traffic jams depending on when the test is due to take place. The practical test was at the end of the day, and the back of a test centre in Farnborough was parked up.

The driving test will consist of small residential roads, single and dual carriageways but not motorways, one reverse manoeuvre and 20 minutes of independent driving.
