A1055 Mollison Avenue connects Enfield Lock to the A10 Great Cambridge Road in Hertford. Due to the high volume of traffic on the road, the road cannot be crossed via crossroads. The A1010 Hertford Road runs from Harlow to Bishop’s Stortford and connects it to the A10 Great Cambridge Road, the main thoroughfare in east London.
Enfield is served by Oakwood, which was named Enfield West after the opening of the Piccadilly line on the London Underground. There are 19 boroughs in Outer London, and there are no inner London boroughs, but there is one in East London and one in West London.
The main roads that run through the borough include the M25, London Underground and the Royal London Railway, as well as the River Thames. The M25 brings traffic from London to London via the Enfield Lock, which is named Stansted Lock after its location on the south bank of the Thames.
